Well I Did It

Well after months of searching I finally picked out a new comforter set for my bed. I was going to get one for Mother's Day but I couldn't find one I like at the price I was willing to spend. So last night on ebay I found one that I just love. I think it will look real nice on my bed. I got if for 93 dollars. I thought that was a steal since it retails for about 300 dollars. Then I go to Macy's website and see that they had it for 70 something dollars on sell. It was to late I had already gotten the one from ebay. Oh well the ebay one had free shipping so I guess I came out good.

Animals

I love animal very, very, much. Over the years that me and hubby have been married we have had many. First was my turtles Trunks and Goten. We had them for a long time but I soon realized that they where needed more care that I could give them so we found them a new home. Then was Addie our first dog. We got her about 9 months before we got married she lived with hubby because there is no way my parents where going to let a dog live in there house. She died when Ian was just a baby. I don't know what happened to her I just went out to feed her one day and she was dead. It just looked like she went to sleep.

Then we got a cat Piccolo. The cat was crazy but was very much loved until he started attacking the children and I had to put him outside. We think he was ran over by a car because one day he was limping and then we just never seen him again.

Then we got penny we got her for Addie and they where the best of friends. Penny died about 5 months ago she lived with my inlaws and I guess by all rights was there dog. When me moved in front of my inlaws she spent all her time down there. I guess we could not compete with a cool shed and any and everything she wanted to eat. I think she might have gotten heart worms. She lived for 7 years.

There was also another cat named Dende. Oh how I loved that little cat. We found him around my hubby's uncles house. The cat was wild but after some tender loving car became just a lap cat. He got out of our house one night threw a window. The next day I found him dead. I have never in my life cryed so hard over a animal. I usually take my animals death very well. Maybe it was because I was about 3 months pregnant with Ian and you know all the hormones.

Then we got another cat Mr. Popo. My friend didn't want him anymore so we took him. He was very sweet but was put outside with Piccolo. He was wander off a lot going across to all the campers that stay in the park. One day we could not find him and I choose to believe that maybe one of the campers took him.

I then thought my animal days where over. I guess I was wrong because my hubby and Ian bring home this little kitten that was no bigger then my hand. They had pulled it out of a dogs mouth. I took this little cat in and thought well I will give it a place to die I just know it will not live. I fed it out of a med. syringe and low and behold the little cat did make it. When we took the little cat in I gave it a bath because it had dog slobber all over it. Ian says "mom why does the cat not have a tail." I said "Ian the cat has a tail." Then ofcourse I look and this tiny little cat does not have a tail. How in the world Ian knew that is beyond me. My husband wanted to name it Bob because of the tail thing and I told him I think the cat is a girl. It was hard to tell because the cat was so small. My inlaws decided that they wanted the kitten and so we gave it to them. The cats name is still bob and yes it is a girl. Then of course you all know about our sweet Lady.

Ok so now you may be depressed because I have told you about all my animals deaths. Or maybe you are asking yourself why did she just tell this long drawn out story. Well I guess to say that I do love animal even if it seems like I have on luck with them. I have never in my life not had a animal around. Growing up we had many many dogs. My dad had this great idea after having Pit bulls that he could make some money by breeding them. Well lets just say it really didn't work as he had wanted it to. The problem was he couldn't keep the neighbors dogs form breeding with his dogs. So we got lots of mutes that no one was going to pay money for. It did mean that we had lots and lots of puppy's.

Growing up I always wanted to be a veterinarian, pediatrician, or a marine biologist. I don't know what ever happened to those dreams. One reason was well I just wasn't smart enough but another was I have a problem with needles. So maybe there was really no point in telling this story because all I really wanted to do was post some photos I took at the zoo Monday. I didn't take many because it is hard to take photos when you are trying to keep up with a wild 3 year old. You will notice that I have a love affair with black and white photos.

What Would Your Child Say? Wednesday

Well its time to tell those silly things that children sometimes say.

I was going over the rules with Ian about the pool. Well mid sentence he stops me and says "oh mom I know, never go in the pool by yourself. Because its not good to drown by yourself." I was like no Ian that would not be a good idea. lol He is just so funny.

Memphis Trip

Well Monday I got up at 5 and by 6 we were out the door. We stopped in Cleveland, MS and had breakfast at McDonald's. I of course had the egg, bacon and cheese biscuit. Then it was back on the road. We made it to Memphis and it took awhile but we found the Pink Palace.

The main reason we went was for the Dino's but we went threw the whole museum and we had a great time. Here are some of the many things we seen.

Then we went to the Memphis Zoo

Then the kids started to look like this.

So we left.

We tried to find the place that we wanted to eat at, but after a hour of searching we gave up and headed home. Bradon had fell and hurt his leg at the zoo so no one was really happy. We stopped by a place in Greenville, MS that has bar-b-que sandwiches and it was great. My husband had ate at this place before but I never had. We came home and I was so hungry I hadn't ate anything since that morning. I didn't get a plate or sit down. I just stood at the counter in the kitchen and inhaled my food. It was so good I just wish I would have ate slower so I could have enjoyed it.

I am back

Well my Internet has been down for a couple of days. I had said before that I could not post pics because it was moving so slow and then well it just finely stopped all together so I have some catching up to do.

Ok on July 23rd 2002 at 12:45 pm Ian Bradley came into this world. My hubby gave him his first name and I gave him his middle name. He is just a sweet boy and I just couldn't see a my life without him in it. I just love this little guy!!

Saturday we had his 7th Birthday Party. Everyone had a good time.

So We are planning to go to Memphis Monday as long as everyone is ok. The reason I say this is because Bradon woke up Friday morning saying his knee hurt. He wouldn't walk on if for a hour. He says that he hurt it on his bed but I am not sure how. Plus I didn't hear him cry over the monitor and I would think if he hurt his knee bad enough not to walk on then surly he would have cried when he hurt it. Plus this information is coming from a 3 year old. Anyways I was going to take him to the doctor but he started walking on it. Latter that night he started running a fever. A thousands thoughts have been going threw my mind. I think maybe the fever is because he has been sneezing and had a dry cough, but you know you hear so many bad things on the Internet that it still has me worried. So keep my little man in your prayers.

Well back to the trip. Since we will be going this week I thought I would post some pics of a past trip we took to a place called High Delta Safari Park. We took the kids last year after my son had taken a trip with his school. It was very fun and alot different form a zoo. I didn't know we had a place like this so close to home. Well here are some pics of our good time.

The Boys with a cute little camel.

The boys petting a baby Zedonk. Zendoks are a cross between a Zebra and a Donkey. 2 Zedonks can't breed.

Bradon feeding a goat.

Ian feeding a camel

I just love baby pigs.

Well I am off the bed I have to get up 5am. Oh how I hate getting up early.

What Would Your Children Say? Wednesday

Well I really don't have anything funny that my kids have said but it is sweet. My mom picks up Ian and my niece Arial up from school everyday. Well one day Arial fell down after school and hurt her leg. She was crying and very upset and Ian says " Its ok Arial God will take care of it God takes care of everything." This ofcourse made my mom cry and put a tear in my eye as well. I am so happy that my children love the Lord. Ian never and I mean never misses church. He goes on Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night. He even goes when they have a business meeting every month. If he finds out for some reason we can't go he gets very upset. I only go on Sunday morning because that is the only time they have nursery. If I went any other time I would be stuck in there with Bradon so for now until he gets old enough to be good in church that is my schedule, but not Ian he goes whenever the doors are open.

Vacation Bible School And Other Stuff

Well the kids went to Vacation Bible School last night. It was very odd just me and my hubby and no kids in the house. They had a good time and there was no horses so Bradon didn't get bucked off of one this time. When we pulled up he wanted to know where the water slide was but made no mention of the horse I wonder why lol.

Ian will be 7 on Thursday and we will be having his party Saturday. He is very excited and well just can't wait. Next week my hubby will be taking the whole week off from work and we will be making our trip to Memphis, TN. I have not said to much about this to the kids because well I don't want them driving me crazy about when are we going to go. I am still trying to find a place to eat. I want the go to the Bar-B-Q Shop but I hear parking is a nightmare and it is very crowed. Also I don't know what is on there kids menu so I think we will be going somewhere else. I really don't want to eat a burger but I love this show on the Travel Channel called Food Paradise. They showed a place called Dyer's Burgers they have been using the same grease since they opened back in 1912. I just don't know where to go it is a hard choice for someone that just loves food.

Well I hate having a post with no pictures but my Internet has been acting funny. It is moving real slow and when I try to upload photos it takes forever and then tells me it can't. I guess I will have to call the cable company and tell them. I am sure that will go well since they have been out twice about the t.v. cable and still can't get that problem fixed.

Another weekend

Well we had a good weekend. Saturday I watched my niece Arial and the kids had a great time playing. Today we took the kids to Vacation Bible School. My friend is a pastor at a church and since our church doesn't have vacation bible school we took the kids there. They had a big water slide and a little horse for the kids to ride. Ian got to ride the horse first and loved it, but then it was Bradon's turn and well he got bucked off the horse. He didn't get hurt and because the man was kind of holding on to him so when he hit the ground he didn't hit hard. Of course in true Bradon fashion he just pops up and says "I want to go on the slide." I laughed until I cried that is so Bradon to get bucked off a horse.

So we go to the slide and you have to take off your shoes to get on it. Well Ian nor Bradon wanted to do that but we talked them into it. Ian got on the slide and loved it and well Bradon took off his shoes and within a few seconds got stung by something on the foot and then didn't want on the slide. All he wanted was his shoes back on. A very nice lady held him and took him down the slide. He only went 1 time so I guess he didn't like it to much. He then got in the kiddie pool and had a great time. They will be going to vacation bible school all this week. Ian had to be talked into it. My friend the Pastor, his wife is Ian's teacher for vacation bible school. When I told him that Ian may not come back but Bradon would. His wife took Ian in and showed him the class room that they had a tent and all this stuff. When Ian came back outside he had a big smile on his face and said "ok mom I want to come back" I was so glad that she took the time to make him feel comfortable. He is very shy and does not like change. I hope all goes well this week and they both have a great time.

It's All Gone

That is my pictures on my computer. Yesterday I was on the computer and everything seems to be fine then all of a sudden the computer goes to a blue screen. Well I have learned by now when the computer starts acting funny do nothing and call hubby. So he tells me to turn off the computer and try again. He thought he knew what was wrong with the computer and probably more then likely it was nothing serious.

Well about 30 mins. latter I decide to try again and the computer starts to boot up but then just goes off and starts making a crazy sound. So I call hubby again and this time he is thinking the worse about my computer. He comes home and tells me after taking the computer apart that the hard drive is dead. Oh I could just cry all my pictures are gone. The only pics I have left are from 1 year ago and that is because they are saved on another computer. We have another old laptop that he took the hard drive out of and put into my laptop, but it is not the same not without all my pics.

What would your child say? Wednesday

So today is what would your child say Wednesday. So the point is to share a story about the cute things your children say. I think this is a great idea because now I will be writing down the cute things they say and I won't forget them.

My 6 year old son Ian a couple of years ago I think he was 4 almost 5 asked his pappaw where he had gotten his golf cart. So his pappaw goes threw and tells him all about how he had gotten the golf cart and when he is done Ian says "Wow pappaw that is a very interesting story but I haven't thu time." He sounded so grown up and I am thinking where in the world does he get this stuff.

Here is a pic of Ian taken on the golf cart by the lake.

To share your story click on the What would your child say? Wednesday pic at the top of the post, and share your story.

Pets

Photobucket

This is my entry for the Pet category on iHeartFaces. This is Lady we adopted her almost 1 year ago. Ian had been wanting dog for sometime, and after awhile I gave in. We found her on pet finder in Louisiana. She is the best little dog. She loves us all very much and well we love her to. We could have not asked for a better dog with the boys. She puts up with a lot with 2 little boys running around.

When we went to go and look at the dogs she was the first we seen and the reason we had came to that shelter. I was not sure about getting her because of the breed. I was worried about her having back problems. We looked at all the dogs and well I could have taken them all home. In the end she is what the boys and my hubby wanted so we took her. Now I can't imagine having any other little dog.

Big Brother Time

Well it is time once again this year for my show Big Brother.

This years twist is Clique's. They have the athletes, brains, off-beats, and the popular crowd. I really don't have any favorites yet. It takes me a couple of weeks to get to know these people before I do that.

This weekend was just a lazy weekend. Friday my hubby came home early because he was not feeling so well later that day we went to Walmat. Saturday my mom and aunt Connie came over for a little bit then we took the boys to see the new Ice Age movie. Ian loved it and was very excited. Bradon did well for this being his first time to a movie theater. It is a very cute movie and I am glad that we took the kids.

Sunday we always go to my mom and dads house to eat but she called early and said she was not feeling well so the boys went to church and we just hung around the house today.

Tonight Bradon hurt his finger in the rocking chair. He was so upset and had the biggest tears rolling down his face. After a few seconds he looks at me and says "I want a transformer band-aid it make it feel better." As soon as the band-aid hit his finger the tears stopped. It is just amazing the power of a transformer band-aid.

Here are some pics from Friday night. My dad has been keeping us in a supply of fireworks. Ian loved them, but Bradon just really wanted to play with his monster truck. That was ok with me one less child holding a stick that is on fire is ok with me. As you can tell I am not big on fireworks.
