Zoo = Fun

Well I had to change my blog background because for some reason the old one was all messed up. This week Ian had his last day of school and we took the kids to the zoo. We have a small free zoo not to far way. The kids always enjoy it because they get to feed the animals. Well Bradon enjoys feeding the animals Ian won't touch them.

Tomato And Other Stuff

Well somethings that have been going on are that Ian won 2nd place in the tomato growing contest at school. He was very happy when his pappaw gave him 10 dollars for it.



The pool did warm up and the kids got to play. Bradon had fun when he realized he wasn't going to sink. He was not as brave this year as he was last year.

Also for Mother's Day Ian gave me a flower and just the other day it bloomed. It is so beautiful :)

I have also been busy filling out all of Ian's papers for his appointment in Little Rock. I have been feeling like a bad mom because some of the questions I don't have answers to. Like when did he start cooing? Just alot of questions that I don't remember. Oh well I guess I should have wrote those things down but I didn't. I only wrote down when he started walking and stuff like that. I hope to get them finished soon because I am getting real tired of them already.

Mother's Day and Other Stuff

Well Saturday we went and ate at the Mexican Grill for Mother's Day. It was soooo GOOD :) Then we made a trip to the store to get a sandbox for the kids. After all that we came home and we decided to put the pool up. That took until almost we had no light left outside, but we got it up and are now just waiting for the water to warm up.



Sunday we went to my parents house and ate and then that night we came home and the hubby grilled steaks. The kids played in the sand box. I know these pictures look like they were taken in the winter but they were not. It was cold Sunday afternoon in Arkansas it is so crazy the weather. We are filling up the pool and here are the kids in winter clothes. Then the next day it it is back in the high 80's.

Here are some more pictures of are week so far. Ian only has about 3 more days of school left and I am so happy. I just love summer. I hope the pool warms up soon so the kids can get in. It is not looking good so far. We have had very warm weather but little to no sun and it is suppose to rain over the weekend. Oh did you notice that we got shaggy and sheepdogs hair cut :)

Fun With Dirt

We had a good day today. After Ian got home from school we did all the school work and then waited for daddy to get home so we could all eat. I made roast, macaroni bake, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. It was so very yummy!! Then I took the kids outside while hubby cut the grass. He has been waiting for this moment for weeks. He got a new lawn mower and this was the first time he was able to use it. He was a happy man.

Me and the kids spent our time on the dirt pile. To my boys this big pile of dirt was the best thing that has every happened to them. Everytime we go outside they want to go play in the dirt. I just love my little men. Man they do need some hair cuts and I think that will be taken care of this Saturday.

Well I hope everyone had a good weekend. My roses are in full bloom and I just love my flowers. I hope that I will be planting more soon. I don't know if I will be planting roses I have 8 rose bushes so I think that may be enough.
