Wow What A Week

Well last week sure was a sad one. So many celebrity deaths. Some I am not shocked about but Micheal Jackson and Billy Mays really came out of no where. I am very sad that Billy Mays has died. I love his show pitchmen and he seemed like such a sweet person. I pray for all there family's that God will give them peace and help them threw this hard time.

Well sweet Ann has nominated me for my first award. I have not known her for very long but she seems like a very sweet person and she is my first and one an only follower so that makes her very special to me. Go check out her blog at http://halesbelles.blogspot.com/

So the first rule is to list 10 things about myself honestly.

1. I never eat everything on my plate. I don't know why but I have to leave something even if it is the smallest piece of food. Don't know why I do this just noticed a couple of months ago. I know that is strange but that is just me.

2. I hate to clean. I love a clean house just hate getting it there. Dishes are my enemy. If I could I would just shut down the kitchen. That way I would never have to clean a plate or fork again.

3. I hate to drive and well I avoid it as much as possible. I got a new car back in Feb. and have only drove it 1 time. My husband loves to drive so it works out well. I am sure things will change once Ian goes to school and I have to drive everyday. For now I am just enjoying my summer driving free.

4. I have a food problem! I love to eat it is my favorite thing to do. If I had a weight problem I would be in trouble because I don't know if I could hold my self back.

5. I love to watch Big Brother and just can't wait to watch it again when it comes back on. Me and my husband get so into this show that it is crazy.

6. I have a fear of people getting there eye poked out. If the kids come running to me holding there hand over there eye I just don'wantto look.

7. I also hate to pull my children's teeth. I have so far let Chip handle this. Ian is working on losing his 3rd tooth and well it is so loose that it is crazy. I just can't bring myself to pull on it or anything so it is just hanging in there. I hope Chip will pull it soon.

8. Ok I have really long toes! As a teenager I would never wear open toe shoes because of that. My dad always joking with me always said I had fingers for toes. Now I wear my flip flops all the time. I guess now I just don't care.

9. I have a obsession with my floors being clean. I clean my carpet all the time. I have tryed to stop cleaning it so much but as soon as a stain gets on my carpet something just tells me "GO CLEAN THAT RIGHT AWAY!"

10. Ok last but not least is that I am a huge people pleaser I just want everyone to be happy so I at times drive myself crazy trying to do everything for everyone.

So now you can see that I have some problems. I think now I am suppose to link to 10 people but I don't have anyone so I guess I am going to break the rule on this one.

Just Don't Know What To Say....

Well ok here is what is going on. I have a friend that ust to live in my town he moved along time ago but a few months ago sent me a message on Facebook. So anyways I added him on Facebook and on my Myspace page. Well his wife wanted to be my friend to so I added her. Granted I don't know her but I thought what is the harm. Well a couple of days ago she comments on my status and says and I will not say everything she said because I don't use those words so here is the edited version. " Why did you you say this about me on this blog? That was really messed up." So I have no clue what she is talking about. The link she gave did not work and so I just ignored it. I really thought she must be kidding.

Well tonight I get on Myspace and her status says "I can't believe what a so called friend said about me in this blog" She then gives another link that keeps giving me a error message. It is some blog on myspace. Well I really have no clue what she is talking about. Why in the world would I say anything bad about someone I don't know. So I commented on her status. I asked if she was crazy? and that I have no clue what she is talking about. Granted this is not to Christian like and I feel bad for asking such a question but I really want to know. As soon as I find out what she is talking about I will be deleting her.

Anyways I plan on posting a blog about the thing that Ann sent me. Ok everyone else might not know what I am talking about but Ann does. Or at least I hope :)

My Wednesday

Well today was just another day. I woke up did some cleaning and took the boys out to swim in the pool. Then we all went back in the house and got clean and then got Ian ready for church and then watched some tv. Now I am watching The Notebook I swear oxygen channel loves this movie. That is ok with me I love the movie to.

I have been doing some searching on the Internet for things to do this summer. We have decided not to take a vacation this year instead we will just make a day trip somewhere. We have decided on Memphis, TN. I have not been to Memphis in about 6 years. We are going to take the boys to the Memphis Zoo.





I have not been to this zoo since my last visit and a lot has seemed to change. They have added new animals and back just a few years ago it took forever to get around this zoo so I can only imagine what it is going to take this time.

Then we will go to the Pink Palace Family of Museums. They have a lot of things here but we are taking the boys to the Dinosaurs and Sea Monsters exhibit. Here is what the website says about it "This exhibit views these mechanical monsters with a touch of science and a touch of fantasy. See specimens from the cretaceous period (and somewhat before) along with actual fossils from our very own Coon Creek Science Center, one of the most important Cretaceous ocean sites in the world." My boys will love this I am sure.




Of course what trip would be complete without a great place to eat. We think we are going to eat at at place called A & R Bar-B-Que http://www.aandrbbq.com/menu.asp
Of course things may change by the time we go but that is what we want for right now. We are some food loving people.

Our Sunday

So today we went to church, my parents and then back home. Chip cut the grass and I cleaned the house and then I watered my flowers. I know I know you are saying how exciting. We worked on the fence a little and then noticed this....

What is wrong with this picture?



Well if you don't know just let me tell you. See that pole with the center block around it? Yeah that pole has concrete in it and also has the cross brasses up. So how in the world are we going to fix that? Well....

Well here is a picture of how far we have gotten on the fence.
We only have a little left and then we will be done. I know lady will be happy she will have a lot more space to run around in. She has plenty of room now to run and do her business but with the new fence she will really be living the life.

A Day Without Internet

Well the cable company came out Tuesday to fix our cable and of course found out that the problem was with the main line. So Wed. they came back and the cable went off at about 10:30 Wed. and didn't come back on until around 12 noon today. It was a nightmare without my t.v. and internet. Oh and of course the problem is still not fixed but I am afraid to call them out here again I don't want to go without internet that long again or tv.

Today we went out and played in the pool and then went to go visit my parents. It was just a very boring lazy day. Here is a pic from the other day of the boys. Maybe more will me going on tomorrow.

Things I Love Monday

Ok now time for Things I Love Monday.

We have a place in Mississippi that makes these and well I just love them. Me and Chip try and go eat here at least once a year, but this year so far we have been there a couple of times.

It has been awhile since I had one of these but I heart them so.

Fun In The Sun

Well I have not wrote much this week, but that was only because not much has been happening. Oh and the fact that I have been lazy. This weekend we got to swim in the pool. The boys loved it and well didn't want to get out but after 2 hours in the pool it is time to dry out a little.

We just hung around the house this weekend ofcourse Friday night I had my much loved Frisco Burger.



Then Saturday ofcourse as I said before we went for a swim.











Ofcourse no post would be complete if I didn't hold hostage another frog.



This frog was so tiny. There is just nothing in this world besides grits that my Bradon loves more.

Things I Love Monday

A Movie



I love the movie The Notebook. It is such a sweet movie sad, but sweet.

Well my weekend went well. We will soon be finished with the fence and we got the pool up. Sunday we went to church and then to my parents house. It was my dad's birthday so we went to give him his gift. Oh something else Sat. we went and got Bradon's hair cut for the first time. Well for the first time by someone other then me.

Prayer Request

Today I found out that a girl that I went to high school with lost her husband in a tragic accident. They have children together and this is just so very sad. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her name is Shanon.

Just Another Day

Well not much has happened today. I have been lazy and well didn't do much for the most part of the day. I watched One Life To Live, and I will be so glad when they get this baby switching story over with. If you don't watch the soap well then I guess you have no clue to what I am talking about.

Chip came home and we ate baked Mac and Cheese, green beans, and country fried steak. It was very good and then we watched wipeout on ABC.



This show just cracks me up. Ofcouse every time I watch it I am afraid someone is going to kill themselves but so far so good.

Another show I will watch tonight is Pitch Men it comes on Discovery I think. I didn't think I would like this show but these 2 men together are very funny.



Well I guess that is all for tonight. Oh oh guess what is going on right now.......
IT'S RAINING!!!!

For The Love Of Frogs

Well today not much has happened, well it might be yesterday depending on when you read this. Ian was in a very lazy mood today. He didn't want to go outside and do anything so me and Bradon went out and played. Then daddy came home.



Then me and Bradon went to look for frogs after the butterfly he was looking at flew away. Well we didn't find one but just out of luck Chip did. There is nothing in this world that makes Bradon happier then a frog.



Then ofcourse after awhile we let the little frog go.



And then this happened



I told him we would go and give him a bath and that made him happy again because besides frogs he loves his baths.

Things I Love and My Day

Well I guess I will start with the things I love you know other then my family. Ok first is my camera. I couldn't see my life with out this thing.

It cost more then I would like to spend on a camera but I love it and like I said I wouldn't want to live without it. I would love to one day get a bigger one, one that I can change lenses but that will be way down the road. What can I say I am cheap.

Ok something else that I love is the Hardee's Frisco Thickburger.

The Frisco Burger including two slices of Swiss cheese, two strips of crispy bacon, and sliced fresh tomato, all on buttered and grilled sourdough bread spread with onion-flavored mayo. Oh I love this burger and I could really live off of it. But I guess a burger and curly fries wouldn't be good to eat everyday.

Well I guess I will start with this weekend. Saturday we spent all day outside. Chip was building a fence so we can put our pool up. It will I am sure take us all week to finish this fence. Chip will be working on it everyday after he gets off work. We are going to put the pool up this weekend and God help us. I hate messing with that thing but it is worth it.

Well today I took the boys outside to play on there slip n slide. They have been begging to play with it but the weather has been to bad. Oh and I just love the warning on the thing. Things like spinal injury and such. They had a good time and I am sure we will be doing this again tomorrow. Here are some pics of there fun time.
