Christmas

Well this Christmas was a good one :) Thursday night we went to my grandfathers house and the kids got to open 1 gift and we ate and just had a good time. Then after that we ran over to my moms house and let the kids open gifts. We usually do this Christmas Day but with other kids their we have to wait until everyone leaves and everything seems so rushed so we just decided to let them open the gifts that night.

Ian was very excited to open this gift he wanted it so badly.


Then the next day was Christmas day and Santa still decided to come even if the kids were not so good this year. I know the kids thought when they first seen all the gifts that morning that Santa had been extra kind. Santa only got them a few things and the rest was from hubby's extended family. They always have a thing Christmas Eve but because of some family issues we don't go. So they had a lot of unwrapping to do that morning. Chip's Grandmother had 10 kids 8 that are still living. When you get all of them and all of their kids and they all have atleast 3 kids each then you get alot of gifts. I am still opening gifts and my house looks like a toy factory exploded. I guess it is about time to go and get rid of some of their old toys.

Then after we opened all the gifts from Santa we got dressed and went to my parents house to eat lunch and then after that it was off to my in laws to eat and open more gifts.
